Pretoria Progressive Jewish Congregation
Bet Menorah was founded in Rosh Hashanah 1950 as "Temple Menorah". Services were first held in rented premises in Hatfield till the Bronkhorst Street buildings were completed (1953). In 1994, the shul moved to its current location in Bailey's Muckleneuk.
Bet Menorah is affiliated to the Southern African Union for Progressive Judaism and the World Union for Progressive Judaism.
